Welcome Back to the week of April 4-8. We are starting to prepare for the end of the year and next year. In this post, you will see

Note, there is an addition to the Playground garden duty: Students are not allowed to play soccer (Football). If any teacher at any time sees students playing soccer, Take the ball. If the students are from Russian or Azer, give it to the reception in the front desk by the Doctors office and Library. If our students give to me.

Students have been getting injured. This is the job of all teachers at all times, not just the HR teachers or those assigned to the garden duty. If you see students playing soccer, take the ball.

2. New Schedule

We have an updated schedule this week. We had to make room for changes in Russian staffing as well as some adjustments to grade 9 math. If there are some conflicts let me know, we will have to work with them this week, next Friday will be the time to publish any fixes if they are needed.

3. Meeting this week

The grade level meetings will be based around Elementary, Middle School 6-8, High School9-11.
Attend the meeting of the group of students you teach the most.

Elementary will meet in Ms. Shabnum's Grade 1 Class

Middle School will meet in Ms. Narmin's grade 7e2

HS in the Grade 10 room

Agenda, 
  • Be prepared to discuss how you will use 'leader in me' in class. Secondary school can think of the 'Proactive' start of class routines and how to teach this to students
  • There will be a list of comments about "Proactive" to include on MIS. Once a week there should be comments and leader in me proactive should be the foundation of these for the rest of the year
  • Book order and material order forms for next year will be shared
  • Intention for next year. You will fill out a form for your employment intentions for XXI century next year

4, Professional Announcements

Hours and Permission.

Just a reminder that hours for full time teachers go until 4:30.

 

Starting March 10 full time contract teachers must sign in and out in the sign up book in Mr. Patrick’s office. This is a continuation of school practice when teachers had to swipe in with their card. The card reader does not work so we will sign in.

  If you need to leave school temporarily or early, 

  • you should send an email to Mr. Patrick, HR and Lima a day in advance.
  •  There is a notebook in Mr. Patrick’s office to sign out.


If you are sick in the morning, 

  • please email Patrick, Lima and HR before 8:15 am. 
  • Please whats app Patrick as well.

Garden playground duty

Breakfast and Lunch Garden Duty

·       Keep an eye on students from the space between the building to the back of the playground

·       No Phones or rough play- NO Football, Soccer Ball. Take Soccer Balls Away!!!

·       Send them inside 3 minutes before the Bell

·       clear out the playground and garden area at the end before you go inside

The Homeroom Teacher will roam with the students from the Cafeteria to the garden and the classroom.
