final stretch of the year, from April to June. Less than 50 school days to the
last day, even less to final exams.

‘Proactive’. Students being prepared at the start of each class, Assembly Thursday Period 3. Put it on your calendar.

the rest of the year. This rotation will help us focus on meeting goals,
professional growth, Leader in Me, Tracking Students in need.

Grade Level meetings people should join in with what they
teach most, MS or HS classes. Elementary joins elementary. The main focus of
grade level is students of concern and student well-being.
Professional Growth Plan, We will be returning to this, and using the Meeting Rotations as one of the ways for supporting and completing this.
Book orders. We need to have our orders in by the end of next week. More information will be coming. Watch this space...
Teaching and Learning.
We will have a secondary school leader in Me Assembly for
students and teachers Thurs P 3.
All secondary teachers in school who are not teaching at that time should attend

Students go to class period 3
·
The Teacher takes attendance and escorts students to the assembly
·
The Teacher sits with the class during
assembly,
·
Fill in front rows first
·
Teachers who are not teaching attend the assembly
We will focus on “Proactive” for the remainder of this year
Students will prepare themselves at the start of class. Be
in their seats with material ready: Text, copybook, journal, pens, etc.
Teachers will support this with comments on MIS. A series
of comments related to student preparation will be provided for teachers to
select.
