Welcome back,
This week’s post will focus mainly on introducing the Professional
Growth Plan. You will also find a nice link on “De-escalating Students” during
those heated exchanges, a continuation of some of our Professional Development
work a week ago, and an update on where we are with Leader in Me.

Note, This week, on December 1 and 2, from 10:00 to 13:00, the photographer will take videos and photos for the system of our Center. Please focus on students being in proper uniform and the rooms being neat this whole week!

Growth Plan.
Please down Load and Make a copy of each of these. Have a read and
be familiar. These are in Azerbaijani, I will have an English Copy soon. This growth plan is designed to follow from work we have done with Leader in me, the PD work from a week ago, and the classroom walkthrough we have been conduting for classroom instruction and activities.

Leader in
Me
So far we have completed Habits 1-7 with 8 Modules, including had
two discussions.
Next week we will be introducing the next stage of leader in me
that will involve applying it to the school.

I think, I have used some of these strategies before just I didn't know that it is called 'de-escalation'
I wonder, can school support and provide training resources that help teachers de-escalate aggressive student behavior?
